Her biological parents abandoned her at a train station at 2 years old as they considered themselves unfit to care for a child, they were emotionally abusive and it threatened to get physical. At the train station a nice couple from England took her in with them, she had lived with them for about 8 years before they had unfortunately been killed by dark wizards seeking revenge and information.
After this Sierra was taken in by a close friend of her adoptive parents; Manuela Rosegarden. She specializes in Beast and Animal care and taught Sierra a lot about them before she was finally sent to Hogwarts, only being sent to Hogwarts as a 5th year at the age of 16. She was sent to Hogwarts late as she had alot of trauma to resolve, before Manuela saw her to be fit to be sent to school. Besides that, Manuela discovered Sierra had some abilities unknown to her, it was the biggest reason she was sent to Hogwarts.

In the secluded village of Bainburgh, the Vane family was ensnared in a web of treachery and deceit spun by the malevolent Victor Rookwood. Laerion, once a respected Duke of the community, fell prey to Rookwood's promises of wealth and power under pressure of his family being killed off, whenever he wouldn’t comply to his wishes. Desperate for riches and to protect his family, Laerion coerced villagers into serving Rookwood's dark agenda, only to witness them vanish into the abyss, their fates sealed by greed and betrayal. The Duke would sell certain villagers to Rookwood, afraid of what he might do to his family and the village if he wouldn’t do as he was told.Despite Laerion's complicity, whispers of regret haunted his every step, a silent testament to the toll exacted by his Faustian bargain. Yet, Rookwood's grip tightened with each passing day, his demands growing ever more insatiable. As more and more people were sent away, to never return, some villagers started questioning Laerion’s capability of taking care of them. As anger grew amongst them, a few went out to search for information they could possibly use to bargain with. To their shock, a handful of people found out about Athelesia’s parents hiding the fact that the little girl had powers never seen before, rarely even heard of. Ancient magic was a myth to most, like a fairy tale one’s parents would tell their kids when they were put to bed. A mistake was soon made by some of the villagers with this knowledge, they were reckless, telling Rookwood’s compliances about the daughter with magic that could empower him greatly. In return, Laerion would no longer need to send more villagers away. When rumors of Athelesia's ancient magical talents reached Rookwood's ears, he saw an opportunity too enticing to resist.
Rookwood made an offering to Laerion; Sell me your daughter, in return i will leave you and your villagers alone for the rest of time. If you do not comply, all their blood, including your daughter’s will be on YOUR hands. Without communicating, but with much regret, the father agreed. Resulting in Athelesia’s parents fighting every day until one day…
In a sinister twist of fate, Rookwood descended upon Bainburgh with his legion of followers, demanding Athelesia as payment for her father's predicament. Laerion, torn between duty and love, initially acquiesced, hoping to spare his family from Rookwood's wrath. But as Rookwood's henchmen closed in, Laerion's resolve crumbled. Finally Athelesia was taught the truth about the matter, Rookwood didn't spare any details as he told her how her father was about to sell her to him in trade for protection and for their village to be left alone. The young witch was overwhelmed with emotion at the hearing of her father's betrayal. A certain anger took over her mind as she pointed her wand at her own father, a mixture of rage, betrayal and sadness in her eyes. Tears fell to the floor while Victor Rookwood watched in amusement, though this amusement was short lived and soon turned into shock. Even a hint of fear was notable in the man as the girl struck down with ancient magic on her father, killing him on impact. As soon as she realized what she did, her wand dropped to the floor in unison with the young girl's body. Her knees hit the floor with a bang while staring at her father's lifeless body on the floor.
Her mother watched in shock for a few seconds before hurrying to the body of her husband, only to be shot down and killed by Rookwood before she could reach him. In a bitter sweet scene, the woman's body fell onto her husband's, their eyes both devoid of life when Athelesia looked at them. Panic took over the girl's body, but she was too afraid to move when Rookwood headed towards her.The boisterous events at the Vane Manor caught the attention of the villagers, seemingly interested in ruckus going on, they soon realized it was more serious that they would hoped for. With loud yelling and screaming, the entire village headed towards the manor to defend the little girl from Rookwood’s grasp. Her aunt Jaenys frantically joined the fight as a leader of the squadron of villagers that fought by her side. The fight didn’t take long to end up in a lot of blood shed, though causalities stated dropping largely on Rookwood’s side, making them retreat in defeat.With her parents' sacrifice staining the earth crimson, Athelesia found herself thrust into the care of her embittered aunt, Jaenys. Strained by grief and resentment, their relationship simmered with unresolved tensions, exacerbated by the burden of safeguarding Bainburgh's secrets from Rookwood's ever-watchful gaze.As the shadows of Rookwood's influence loomed larger, Jaenys made a harrowing decision: to send Athelesia to Hogwarts, cloaked in the guise of preparing her for leadership. Though leaving with more questions than answers rather suddenly, as once again, they were attacked by Ranrok this time.Luckily being able to escape with their lives, she was able to return to her way to Hogwarts to be sorted into Slytherin later that evening.After her introduction the next day, she became close with a few students, primarily Imelda Reyes, Sebastian Sallow, and Ominis Gaunt. They would spend a lot of time together during classes the following days. However, their careless enjoyment together at school would soon abruptly end when Mallory was violently attacked and abducted on her way to Hogsmeade. She had decided to join her friends a little later, wandering alone. Something that would change the course of her life significantly as after professors found she was missing, she was later pronounced dead as on the scene of her dissapearance alot of blood was found and they were unable to find her body. Assuming she was either taken or eaten by creatures.However what they didn't know, is that she managed to fight off her abductors, however lost and severely wounded she decided not to return as the travel back would most likely get her killed. Instead, she trained herself up in private, in utmost secrecy. Words quickly spread of her so-called 'death', as so did with most rumors at Hogwarts. News like this would spread as a wildfire. Mallory decided to use this to her advantage, raiding poacher, darkwizard, and goblin warrior camps, leaving terrible scenes with no evidence. News of the raids were also picked up by everyone at hogwarts. Students talking about a "ghost" taking revenge, no one knew who the person was.Mallory, all the while living her secret life also attended classes from time to time, however mainly staying hidden in the shadows... some students started to notice her, still not knowing it was Mallory, rumours started to go around about a ghost student joining classes.
